Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Angor animi (also referred to as angina animi, Gairdner's disease and also angina pectoris sine dolore), in medicine, is a symptom defined as a patient's perception that they are in fact dying. Most cases of angor animi are found in patients suffering from acute coronary syndrome (cardiac related chest pain) such as angina. It is, however, occasionally found in patients suffering from other conditions. Angor animi is differentiated from a fear or desire for death, since Angor animi refers to a patient's actual and genuine belief that they are in the present act of dying.

Who was Mark? Why did Mark write his gospel? What is the messianic secret? How does lectio divina move us to pray with Scripture? Mark's Gospel was the earliest of the four gospels to be written, having significant impact on the Church and later writers. In this book you'll read how Jesus prepared for his public ministry and how he revealed the Mystery of God's reign in his words and in his life. "The Gospel of Mark" introduces you to Mark's thoughts and his audience so that, in the end, you'll become a witness to who Jesus is. And as you practice the ancient art of lectio divina, you'll find yourself not just knowing about Jesus, but coming to know him as the Lord. View sample pages.
